By purchasing from our website (joymaker.prof), you agree to the following terms. As a sole proprietorship based in Vancouver, British Columbia, we prioritize clear communication and fair practice regarding our digital and event-based services.

1. Digital Products: All Sales Final

Most products offered by The Party Scientist are instant digital downloads.

• Because these products are delivered immediately upon purchase, they are considered "used" once the download link is accessed or the email is sent.

• All sales of digital products are final and non-refundable.

• If you experience a technical issue with your download, please contact us immediately at Jacques@thepartyscientist.com so we can ensure you receive your file.

2. All Camps: Transfer Policy

While registrations for Joymaker camp are non-refundable, we offer a flexible transfer policy to ensure you can still experience the value of the camp at a later date.

• No Cash Refunds: No cash, credit card, or payment processor refunds will be issued for Joymaker camp registrations.

• Transfer to Future Camps: If you cannot attend, you may convert your registration into a credit to be applied toward a future Joymaker camp or event.

• 30-Day Notice Requirement: To be eligible for a credit transfer, you must notify us in writing at Jacques@thepartyscientist.com at least 30 days prior to the start date of the camp you originally registered for.

• Credit Validity: Once issued, your credit is valid for one (1) year from the start date of the original camp. After one year, the credit will expire and will no longer be redeemable.

• Price Fluctuations: If the price of a future Joymaker camp has increased, the customer is responsible for paying the difference at the time of redemption.

3. Consumer Rights (British Columbia)

This policy is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, you are entitled to specific protections regarding distance sales. If a digital product is not delivered as described or an event is cancelled by The Party Scientist without a rescheduled date, we will fulfill our legal obligations to rectify the situation.
