Joymaker Prof Events: The Human Agreement & Terms of Service

Date Updated: February 2, 2026

By purchasing a ticket and participating in a Joymaker Prof Events experience (the "Event"), you ("Participant") agree to be legally bound by the following terms. This document serves as a binding contract between you and Joymaker Prof Events.

1. The Right of Removal & Sole Discretion

Joymaker Prof Events is a curated, intentional container. To protect the collective experience, Joymaker Prof Events reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to remove any Participant from the Event at any time for failure to comply with these agreements or for behavior that disrupts the safety, harmony, or flow of the group.

Legal Provision: If you are removed for a breach of these agreements, you will be required to leave the premises immediately. In the event of such removal, you will not be entitled to a refund of any portion of your ticket price, nor will Joymaker Prof Events be liable for any travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred.

2. Participation & Presence

  • The Agreement: Presence is mandatory. This is an all-in experience.

  • The Rule: Repeated absence from scheduled sessions or persistent disengagement constitutes a breach of this contract. If your lack of presence dilutes the container, Joymaker Prof Events reserves the right to terminate your participation.

3. Media Release & Irrevocable Consent

  • The Agreement: We document the journey to inspire others.

  • The Rule: By attending, you grant Joymaker Prof Events an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use your likeness, voice, and actions in photos or videos for promotional, commercial, or social media purposes.

  • Opt-Out: Any request to be excluded from media must be submitted to Joymaker Prof Events in writing before the Event begins. No personal photography or recording is permitted by participants to protect the privacy of the collective.

4. Smartphone & Digital Detox

  • The Agreement: We unplug to connect.

  • The Rule: Phone use is strictly limited to the designated window (6:30 PM – 7:30 PM). Use of devices outside this window is a material breach of the community agreement. If you cannot adhere to this detox, you may be asked to leave.

5. Consent & Safety (Zero Tolerance)

  • The Agreement: Explicit, enthusiastic consent is our baseline.

  • The Rule: Any violation of physical, emotional, or sexual boundaries—including harassment, unwanted touching, or predatory behavior—will result in immediate removal from the Event without warning and without refund. Safety is non-negotiable.

6. Substance-Free Environment

  • The Agreement: We choose natural highs.

  • The Rule: Joymaker Prof Events is a strictly substance-free environment. Possession or use of illegal drugs, unapproved substances, or alcohol on-site is grounds for immediate expulsion.

7. Platonic Intimacy & Professional Boundaries

  • The Agreement: This is a non-sexual container.

  • The Rule: Romantic or sexual advances toward other participants are prohibited for the duration of the program. This ensures a safe space for vulnerability and play.

8. Confidentiality (The Vault)

  • The Agreement: What happens here stays here.

  • The Rule: You may share your own personal experience. However, you are strictly prohibited from sharing names, identifying details, or specific stories of other participants. Any breach of this confidentiality, especially on social media or public platforms, is a legal violation of this agreement.

9. Communal Living & Responsibility

  • The Agreement: We are a village, not a hotel.

  • The Rule: Participation in communal chores and maintenance of the space is required. Persistent failure to contribute or respect shared spaces is grounds for removal to protect group harmony.

10. Not a Therapeutic Environment

  • The Agreement: This is growth, not therapy.

  • The Rule: Participant acknowledges that Joymaker Prof Events is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. If your emotional needs exceed the capacity of this container or disrupt the group’s nervous system, Joymaker Prof Events reserves the right to require you to step back for the safety of the collective.

11. Release of Liability & Waiver

By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks related to the Event, including physical movement and communal living. You hereby release Joymaker Prof Events, its facilitators, and its staff from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of your participation.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia Canada. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be settled through binding arbitration. By purchasing your ticket, you waive your right to a jury trial.
