It combines 3 programs for the price of one: A high-level leadership program, an adult summer camp, and a restorative health retreat—plus red light therapy, hot tub, cold plunge and lymphatic trampolines.
Every day, you'll be practicing skills, completing physical workouts, eating healthy, and playing games. You won't realize how much you're learning though. Because it's so fun!

You'll become one of the first certified Joymakers—a fun and uplifting leader known for creating powerful in-person experiences. How? By establishing new social, physical, and mental habits. It’s as immersive as it gets, because I want you to leave with new habits! In 4 days at the joymaker mansion, you’ll learn three critical Joymaking skills:

- Social Intelligence: How to create energizing conversations with anyone—with social skills practice.
- Group Facilitation: How to make your gatherings buzz with energy and real connection—no fear of public speaking or perfectionism holding you back!

ACTIVITIES: What do we do?

🤔 Am I a fit?
PREREQS: Must I be a leader?
No formal leadership experience is needed; Joymaker Camp empowers everyone to develop joyful leadership skills. What matters is you have a strong desire to bring people together and you want to become a Joymaker!
INTROVERTS: Can I come?
Yes, absolutely! Some of the most powerful community builders are introverts. You'll build your confidence through group activities and one-on-one interactions. Just be comfortable socializing for about 8 hours each day.
AGE: Is it all ages?
There are no age restrictions; participants aged 18 to 65 have attended. Watch the testimonial video above to see the incredible diversity of our community.
⛺ Logistics, Timing & Location
WHEN: Start and end?
There are three options in November 2026. Each camp is limited to 20 participants. Camp begins on Thursday at 6pm. You must arrive before that time. Camp ends Sunday evening. You can fly in Thursday morning and fly out Monday morning or Sunday evening.
LOCATION: Where is it?
The retreat is hosted at an incredible 8 BR mansion 1.5 hrs from Vancouver (YVR). Easily accessible via Uber and public transit. Detailed directions will be provided.
SIZE: What is the group size?
To ensure an intimate, high-touch training environment where everyone gets personalized feedback, the group size is strictly limited to 20 participants for an intimate, connected experience.
TIMING: Can I arrive late?
Because we intentionally build a secure, connected container from minute one, no late arrivals are allowed. You’re expected to stay for the entire retreat to get the full certification, but you can leave early if it feels overwhelming and you need to prioritize your well-being.
EXTRA NIGHTS: Can I extend my stay?
Want to settle in early or decompress? The earliest you can arrive is Tuesday, November 3. It's 100 USD per night. At the end of the retreat, you may stay an extra night for Decompression Day for an extra 200 USD. I'll be living my joy routine and I'd love to have your company!
SLEEP: How do beds work?
Everyone gets their own bed, with private rooms available. There are 3 Floor Bed tickets available for low income Joymakers. Bedding, pillows, and sheets are included, like a typical Airbnb.
PACKING: What should I bring?
Bring comfortable clothes for movement, an open mind, and a willingness to connect deeply. Full packing list is provided in the checklist you'll receive upon booking.
🧠 The Environment & Boundaries
FOOD: What food is provided?
9 healthy vegetarian meals are included on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Meals are cooked together by participants to build community (a great facilitation tactic to observe!). Food and recipes are provided.
If you require a special diet, please bring your own food. You will have access to a full kitchen. IMPORTANT: Our largest meal is lunch. Dinner consists of fruits, veggies, and nuts for better sleep—based on the science of circadian rhythms.
PHONES: Can I use my phone?
As event hosts, we know screens kill presence. There is one hour each day where phones are permitted. 6:30-7:30PM. The goal is to practice self-restraint and joymaking in realistic circumstances. That's why we allow it.
FITNESS: Must I be fit?
No specific fitness requirements exist, but exercise is part of the experience, so you should simply be comfortable moving and participating at your own pace.
TOUCH: Is touch required?
No. Consensual, platonic touch (like high-fives or hugs) is purely optional, designed to practice healthy affection and appreciation. This is strictly a safe, non-sexual space.
PHOTOS: Are there cameras?
Yes—but only by our hired professional photographers so you don't have to worry about capturing the moment. If you’d prefer not to be featured on social media or promotional materials, just let us know. We’ll make sure your face is blurred out and you stay anonymous.
💳 Investment & Policies
PAYMENT: How can I pay?
There are three options. Payment plans are also available. If you'd like to save 3%, pay by INTERAC e-transfer or ACH. Otherwise, use the secure credit card checkout above. Credit cards will be charged 3% more.

REFUNDS: What's the policy?
Because of the highly limited capacity, all sales are final and non-refundable. However, your ticket value is fully transferable to future retreats, provided you let me know within 30 days of your original dates. Your ticket value may or may not cover the full value of a future retreat, as prices go up each year.
